The beauty of the Catholic Church is that it is Universal.  The readings that you will hear in New Jersey will be the same readings you will hear in California, and Peru!

Every day (Sunday is the day of obligation) you will be nourished by readings of the Psalms, the Old Testament, the New Testament (weekend), plus the Gospels, the Priest’s Homily, as well as professing the faith, singing songs, and receiving the Body and Blood of our precious Lord Jesus!, and much much, more.

And most important: Church Doctrine never changes at a Catholic Church.  That is, no one has the authority to change anything that Jesus and the Apostles taught.  Bishops can change the way we celebrate Mass, but they cannot change any Doctrine (we call that Canon Law).
